The hardest few weeks I’ve had in years, and not just at work.

Last few weeks have been an intense mix of milestones, challenges, and personal moments. It’s been one of those periods where everything seems to happen all at once, and you just have to keep moving forward.
After years of late nights, countless iterations, and more “what if we tried this…” conversations than I can count, we finally reached a huge milestone. Our own SaaS platform is ready for its private beta launch. Seeing it take shape from an idea to a tangible product has been amazing.
Almost in parallel, another challenge unfolded where a new product partnership with a leading Australian VOIP/Telco company came in to play. The clock was ticking and we had just 10 weeks to build a working MVP that could integrate with a PBX platform. Somehow, with the support of my amazing team, and probably too much caffeine, it is now ready to launch next month.
Of course, the journey was not without turbulence. We had to refactor and rebuild parts of our infrastructure, and in the middle of it all, deal with a security attack on a couple of our UAT servers. Not exactly the kind of “surprise” you hope for.
There were bright moments too, like our 2-day company hackathon offsite. It was energising to create side-by-side with the team in person, away from the usual screens and Discord channels.
Outside of work, I made a long-overdue trip back to my home country after almost 4 years. Reconnecting with family and friends reminded me of the things that matter beyond deadlines and deliverables. At the same time, I have been navigating a possible long-lasting personal issues, ones that I caused myself, and that are proving to be as hard, if not harder, to work through than any other challenge.
Balancing all of this has been exhausting, and there is no clear finish line. But right now, it is about showing up every day, making progress where I can, and trying to find my footing between the demands of work and the weight of personal life.
