Day 5 of 31: Connections and Caffeine

The first Monday of the new year always feels like a reset button. For our service company, yesterday marked the official restart, and as expected, it was a busy one. The day was filled with catch-ups, follow-ups, and lots of reconnecting with clients who had patiently waited for us to get back into full swing.

Long-term client relationships have always meant more to me than short-term wins. No matter the size of a project, we go the extra mile to make sure our clients and often their teams, receive the technical care and support they need to thrive. That investment in relationships is what truly defines how we work.

Over the years, I’ve noticed a pattern. Many clients excel in their own fields, but when it comes to technology, there’s often a gap that needs bridging. That’s exactly where we want to step in. Not simply as service providers, but as partners. Our goal is to help clients use technology more effectively to improve how they work, collaborate, and grow.

As we enter 2026, it’s rewarding to look back on eight years of building those partnerships. Some of our clients have been with us since the very beginning, continuing to trust us with their development needs. That kind of loyalty can’t be taken for granted. It’s something we deeply appreciate every day.

And on a lighter note, I’ve realised my caffeine intake has been suspiciously low lately. So as we dive into this first full week of 2026, I’m fixing that with a cappuccino and a slice of carrot cake, because great work starts with good connections… and good coffee.

Some Sundays move at their own slow pace, and yesterday was one of them. I went into the weekend feeling excited to refactor a piece of code that’s been bothering me for weeks. But by Sunday evening, the work was still unfinished and instead of accepting that, I spent way too much time complaining to

Day 2 of 31: When TGIF Changes Meaning

It’s finally TGIF. That feeling of “Friday” has shifted a lot over the years. When working for a company, Fridays used to mean freedom, the countdown to switching off, getting some rest, and temporarily stepping away from anything work-related. It was the mental signal that the week was over and life could resume for a
