Positive Thinking – an illusion?

Is positive thinking is an illusion? we are to be believed that everything that happens has a positive reason and to move on. I’m not an expert on the “Positive Thinking” topic. even though its a widely spreading fact among people. But i do use the concept, trying to see the positiveness of everything that happens in life, and it actually makes you feel good.  specially when you need a mood fixing, it helps.  I haven’t had any problems with that so far, but what bothers me is, Is it Real?

Does things really happens for a good reason? Even all the bad happens to you happens for a good reason? for a good cause?

Or are we brainwashing our selves to be fine with what ever happens. So we will stop worrying about the things that’s happening.

Still trying to figure that out.

Any thoughts? feel free to share on the comments.
