How my sprained ankle gave me a productivity boost

Last week, I sprained my ankle. Not once, but twice in the same day. (Talk about overachieving!) This double misstep landed me in the hospital, where the doctor ordered two weeks of complete rest with no walking, no gym, and definitely no morning meditations.

At first, I was bummed. My daily routine was completely messed up. But then, I realized there was a bright side.

With my “no walking” mandate came a free pass from all the day-to-day responsibilities. Yes, even the smallest house chores. (No complaints there!) This gave me a surprising gift of uninterrupted time to focus on work.

Last week, I worked for almost 18 hour a day of deep focus, and it felt amazing! With another week of ankle rest ahead, I’m looking forward to seeing how much more I can get done.

Cheers to finding more opportunities even in the most unexpected setbacks. (And maybe to avoiding any more sprained ankles!)😂

Some Sundays move at their own slow pace, and yesterday was one of them. I went into the weekend feeling excited to refactor a piece of code that’s been bothering me for weeks. But by Sunday evening, the work was still unfinished and instead of accepting that, I spent way too much time complaining to
